Details
As 3M announced the retirement of its Novec line of solvents, many companies are looking for suitable replacements for products including 3M 72DE and 3M 73DE. Solvents Company’s Versatill® QP can serve as an ideal 3M Novec 72DE replacement as well as a 3M Novec 73DE replacement. Not only does it offer comparable performance across numerous industrial applications, but it also satisfies anticipated regulatory changes with regard to reducing the presence of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substance (PFAS).
Versatill® QP has azeotropic properties and is the basic member of the Versatill® family upon which other members are built and expanded. Versatill® QP is an aggressive cleaner, aimed at degreasing and cleaning metal and ceramic surfaces from oils, greases and other soils. It can be utilized in existing vapor degreasing equipment after minimal adjustments. Its performance and cost make it an excellent replacement option for other solvents such as CFCs, PFCs, HFEs, HCFCs (HCFC-141b and HCFC-225) and aqueous cleaners.
